About

Natural Horsemanship is a philosophy of working with horses based on the horse’s natural instincts and methods of communication, with the understanding that horses do not learn through fear or pain, but rather from pressure and the release of pressure. It is a common misconception that Natural Horsemanship equals “wimpy” horsemanship, where the ‘relationship’ is prized above all else. This is not the case.  Natural horsemanship trainers must use firm but fair force when necessary to ensure the safety of the rider or handler, as well as the horse.  We simply do not use fear or pain to motivate the animal, nor do we attempt to force the animal into submission.

Mission

A horse is a reflection of its owner. It is important for you to understand that I will not fully train your horse for you, my focus is to train you, help you gain confidence, an understanding of your horse and its behavior and work with you to overcome any issue/s your horse may have developed.

Please be aware - Consistency is the key to success - if you do not work with your horse on a daily basis, apply the knowledge gained, your horse can or will regress.

Vision

Find the perfect connection between horse and rider.

Liberty is the ultimate truth test for your relationship with your horse. Liberty helps your horse work with his "gymnastic improvement," or overall athletic capability. With Liberty, your mental and emotional connection with your horse will grow leaps and bounds, to the point that you truly become partners.
